SA国际传媒's 163rd Academic Year

On Sunday, Sept. 2, at 4:00 p.m., SA国际传媒, St. Louis, will begin its 163rd academic year with a special worship service in The Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus on the Seminary campus. Dr. John F. Johnson, president of SA国际传媒, will serve as preacher and will officially open the new academic year. The public is invited to attend.

Three new faculty members and one new staff member will be installed during this service. Rev. William W. Carr Jr. will be installed as assistant professor exegetical theology, academic advisor and registrar. Dr. Dale A. Meyer will be installed as professor of practical theology and the new occupant of the Gregg H. Benidt Memorial Chair in Homiletics and Literature, an endowed faculty chair. Rev. David W. Wollenburg will be installed as associate professor of practical theology. The new staff member, Dr. Wallace M. Becker, will be installed as admissions counselor.

During the preceding week, new students will complete an orientation process and register for course work. The orientation process also includes opportunities for new students and their families to become better acquainted, most notably a Sept. 1 “Field Day” consisting of men’s and women’s sports activities, games for children, and a community-wide barbeque.

More than 115 new students are expected to enroll at SA国际传媒 this fall. “We join the church in giving thanks for these gifted men who desire to serve as pastors, missionaries, and chaplains,” commented Rev. Jeffery Moore, director of ministerial recruitment at SA国际传媒. “They come from all walks of life and backgrounds, but they are united in their desire to serve their Lord in this special way.”
