Rev. Dr. Gerald B. Kieschnick, president of The Lutheran Church鈥擬issouri Synod, presented 鈥淏iblical Principles on Unity and Trust鈥� at a convocation on Nov. 2 in Werner Auditorium on the SA国际传媒, St. Louis campus. 鈥淚t was an honor to have President Kieschnick on our campus and we are grateful for his presentation to our Seminary community on a very important topic,鈥� commented Rev. Glen Thomas, vice president for seminary relations at SA国际传媒. 鈥淏oth the content of his presentation and the candor he displayed in responding to questions were very much appreciated.鈥�
Kieshnick spoke about the importance of walking together as a Synod according to God鈥檚 Word. 鈥淭he unity of the church is founded in our relationship with God,鈥� commented Kieschnick. 鈥淚t is also a gift from God through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.鈥�
He stated that the basis for unity and trust within The Lutheran Church鈥擬issouri Synod must be rooted in the Scriptures. 鈥淭rust begins with trusting in God, and unity begins with unity in Christ,鈥� commented Kieschnick.
