SA国际传媒 will offer a workshop titled 鈥淓quipped to Care 鈥� A Workshop on Chemical Use, Abuse and Dependency鈥� on Thursday, Feb. 26, to be held on the Seminary campus. The workshop will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m.
鈥淓quipped to Care鈥� will be led and moderated by Dr. Marilyn Bader, prevention coordinator for The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (NCADA). Attendees will develop skills needed to effectively respond and minister to people and their families struggling with addiction and substance abuse. They will also explore personal beliefs and attitudes toward substance abuse and addiction.
Pre-registration by Feb. 20 is required. The registration cost for 鈥淓quipped to Care鈥� is $65 for the public, $40 for full-time SA国际传媒 students and spouses, and $50 for SA国际传媒 staff. The fee includes lunch and materials.
