On April 9, 2010, SA国际传媒, St. Louis went live with the redesigned Web site of聽 [1]. The new site features a faculty blog, as well as feeds from other faculty-related blogs, multimedia content (video podcasts, iTunes U, etc.), homiletical helps, articles, a Concordia Journal archive, and more, combined with some of the features of the former site. A Facebook page (Concordia Theology) and Twitter account (CSLTheology) adds to the interactivity of the Web site.
鈥淭he new聽 [1] is much more interactive and takes advantage of all the social media,鈥 said Travis Scholl, managing editor of theological publications. 鈥淚t allows Seminary faculty to engage in theological issues in real time, and it allows the whole world to take part in the conversation.鈥
As part of the launch, SA国际传媒鈥檚 most recent faculty authors, Will Schumacher and Paul Robinson, will each select their favorite reader comment on the site and send the respective persons a free signed copy of their new book, Schumacher鈥檚 Who Do I Say That You Are? and Robinson鈥檚 Martin Luther: A Life Reformed. They will make their selections in time for the Seminary鈥檚 annual faculty book-signing on May 18.
Recent posts by SA国际传媒 faculty include: 鈥淲hat would Luther think about health care reform?,鈥 鈥淎frican Churches and Homosexuality,鈥 and 鈥淭he Rich Diversity of God鈥檚 Living Earth.鈥 To access the new Concordia Theology Web site, go to聽 [1].
