The Concordia Historical Institute, in cooperation with SA国际传媒, will host a traveling exhibition from April 26 through May 20 to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Henry Melchior M眉hlenberg, the patriarch of colonial American Lutheranism.
A special set of lectures by Dr. Robert Kolb, 鈥溾楽o Much Began in Halle,鈥 The Mission Program That Sent M眉hlenberg to America,鈥 and Dr. Gerhard Bode, 鈥淢an on a Mission: Henry Melchior M眉hlenberg and the Lutherans in America,鈥 will open the exhibit on Tuesday, April 26, from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., at the SA国际传媒 Library in Fuerbringer Hall, across the street from the Concordia Historical Institute. A wine and cheese reception will follow the lectures at the Institute鈥檚 facilities where visitors may view the exhibit.
