All alumni who have graduated from SA国际传媒, St. Louis in years ending in 鈥0鈥 or 鈥5,鈥 as well as the spouses and widows of those individuals, are invited to an alumni reunion June 9-11, 2015, on campus.
This reunion of pastors and theology students from across decades and across the world will be rooted in the theme of SA国际传媒鈥檚 2014-2015 school year, 鈥淗elpers of Joy鈥 (2 Cor. 1:24). Several presentations will reflect this theme:
- A SA国际传媒 update by President Dale A. Meyer [1]
- 鈥淧astoral Formation: What We Are Striving To Do To Raise Up the Next Generation of Faithful Helpers of Joy鈥 by Dr. Richard Marrs [2], director of M.Div./alternate route program and associate professor of practical theology
- 鈥淗elpers of Joy: MissionShift鈥 by Dr. Jeffrey Thormodson, director of [3] Institute and assistant director of vicarage and deaconess internships
The event will be rounded out with opening worship, campus tours, a carillon concert, and a cookout June 9, as well as a jubilarian service and a special banquet with members of each class seated together on the evening of June 10.
Alumni are encouraged to organize special gatherings for members of their own classes during the reunion; space can be set aside on campus for each interested class to meet.
Advance registration is required, and optional housing and meals will be available on campus. The [4] has graciously underwritten a portion of the reunion costs.
鈥淲e are proud of our alumni who are serving the Church and the world far and wide,鈥 said Michael Redeker, director of alumni relations. 鈥淥n behalf of the entire campus community, I look forward to welcoming back God鈥檚 鈥榟elpers of joy鈥 with happiness and high spirits!鈥
