William H. Hecht, a 1960 graduate of SA国际传媒, St. Louis and a recipient of the Seminary’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2006, entered rest June 12, 2017 at his home in Vienna, Va.聽A funeral service was held at St. Paul鈥檚 Lutheran Church in Falls Church, Va., with final internment at Flint Hill Cemetery in Oakton, Va.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Herbert William Hecht scholarship fund at SA国际传媒, St. Louis. “Heavenly Father, into whose keeping we entrust our loved ones, help us to look to You in our time of sorrow, remembering the cloud of faithful witnesses with which we are surrounded. Grant that we may one day share in the joys of those who now rest in Your presence; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.”
