The event culminated May 5 after a fruitful month of online giving. The Seminary raised $50,558 from 293 donors, more than doubling its goal of $25,000 and breaking the previous Give STL Day record set in 2021.
A generous donor matched each donation dollar-for-dollar up to the first $12,000 raised.

Online donations began April 5 at [2], and donors also contributed by phone and directly through the Seminary鈥檚 website [3]. Funds raised will help the Seminary further its mission of preparing pastors, deaconesses, missionaries and other church leaders for service in The Lutheran Church鈥擬issouri Synod across the country and around the world.
Since its start in 2014, Give STL Day has raised over $22 million for St. Louis-based nonprofit organizations. This year marks the Seminary鈥檚 third Give STL Day campaign.
