DESCRIPTION:Regent Awards\nSA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½\, St. Louis’ Regent Awards consist of four separate grants available to students who demonstrate great potential.  These grants cover 100% of tuition\, including two grants with a stipend for living expenses. \nRegent grants will be awarded by the Seminary’s scholarship committee and will be automatically renewed for consecutive years until program completion.  Members of each incoming class in the Master of Divinity and Residential Alternate Route programs may be eligible for the following awards. \nThe Martin Scharlemann and Robert Kolb Grants \nTwo grants will be awarded that include full tuition along with a cash stipend of $4\,500\, paid monthly throughout the academic year.  Stipends are limited to 3 residential years and will not be paid during vicarage.  Recipients of this aid will not be eligible for other Seminary-based financial aid; however\, external awards\, grants\, and aid\, including support from a home congregation and district\, are permitted and will be credited to the student’s account without reducing the grant. \nThe Timothy and Titus and Barnabas Grants \nTwo grants will be awarded that include full tuition. DESCRIPTION:Concordia University System (CUS) Award\nSA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½\, St. Louis’ CUS Awards provide financial aid opportunity for incoming students who graduate from the colleges and universities of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (CUS) and who have applied to a program in Ministerial Formation at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½.  This includes students enrolling in the Master of Divinity\, Residential Alternate Route\, or Master of Arts in Deaconess Studies programs. \nAwards are granted for the student’s first year at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ and are nonrenewable. \n\nApplicant must be a CUS student who has applied to a program in Ministerial Formation.\nApplicant must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from a CUS school.\nThe applicant will have studied at a CUS school for a minimum of four semesters before graduating.\nApplicant must receive his or her bachelor’s degree from a CUS school\, but not necessarily in the pre-seminary program.\n\nOnce the student applies to the Seminary\, he or she will automatically be considered for the awards; all information for award consideration will come from the student’s applicant file. There is no separate application to complete. Students must submit their application to SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ before Nov. I of the year prior to enrollment.
