In doing so\, Jesus confirmed the Psalter鈥檚 prophetic witness about Himself as Israel鈥檚 coming Messiah. In this workshop\, we will consider how the Psalter鈥檚 arrangement contributes to the Psalms鈥 rich picture of the Christ as Triumphant King\, Royal Son\, Suffering Servant\, Priestly Mediator and Leader of Praise to the Father. We also will explore some of the manifold ways we hear Christ speaking in the Psalms as He identifies with sinners\, announces God鈥檚 grace to them and enjoins them to join Him in prayer\, praise and thanksgiving to God. \n\n\n\n\nDr. Adam Hensley\nAssociate Professor of Exegetical Theology\nDr. Adam Hensley is associate professor of Exegetical Theology at SA国际传媒\, St. Louis.
