While the fulfillment of prophecy is regularly cited in the New Testament\, that is not the only dynamic. At times\, the language of Old Testament texts is significantly transformed in New Testament texts. Then\, there are allusions and echoes of Old Testament texts within the New Testament that stop short of direct quotation yet build on the prior text. We will explore the various dynamics of the New Testament鈥檚 use of the Old Testament\, consider the Christological significance of those dynamics and reflect on how our interpretive practice can reflect those dynamics. \n\n\n\n\nDr. Kevin Golden\nAssociate Professor of Exegetical Theology\, Dean of Ministerial Formation\, and Director of Resident Field Education\nDr. Kevin Golden is associate professor of Exegetical Theology\, dean of Theological Research and Publication\, and director of Resident Field Education at SA国际传媒\, St. Louis.
