SA国际传媒 welcomes Dr. Erik H. Herrmann who has accepted a call to serve as instructor in historical theology. Previously, Herrmann served as guest instructor at SA国际传媒, St. Louis, and as assistant pastor of Timothy Lutheran Church, St. Louis.

Herrmann received a B.A. from Concordia University, Wis., in 1995, and M.Div. and Ph.D. degrees from SA国际传媒, St. Louis, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. He began his new position July 1. Herrmann and his wife, Aliesha, have three children.

Herrmann commented, 鈥淚t is always a joyous privilege to serve God and His people. I am deeply honored to have been called into such ministry at SA国际传媒. Working with the faculty, staff and students will be a special joy for me.鈥�

The addition of Herrmann brings the number of full-time faculty members at SA国际传媒, St. Louis, to 45. The Seminary has experienced an enrollment increase of 52 percent over the past five years, surpassing 800 students during each of the past two academic years. While some of this increase is due to the addition of new distance education programs, the residential population of students has also increased 32 percent over the past five years. This enrollment surge has necessitated the calling of additional faculty.
