SA国际传媒, St. Louis, announces that a special presentation, 鈥淒iscernment for Da Vinci: A Primer for Viewing the Da Vinci Code Movie,鈥 will be held Tuesday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the Seminary鈥檚 Clara and Spencer Werner Auditorium. The public is invited to attend free of charge.
SA国际传媒 faculty members Jeffrey Kloha, Paul Robinson and James Voelz will discuss Dan Brown鈥檚 novel, The Da Vinci Code, which has been adapted for film and will be released in theaters on May 19. Following the presentation, the faculty will entertain questions in an open forum. An audio file of the presentation will be available the following day on the Seminary鈥檚 Web site ().
鈥淗istorical fiction can be enormously entertaining, but some aspects of The Da Vinci Code have troubled and confused many readers,鈥 commented Dr. William Schumacher, director of theological research and publication at SA国际传媒. 鈥淭he participating faculty members have expertise in both history and biblical studies, and will help to sort out fact from fiction.鈥
