Rev. Michael L. Kumm, director of alumni relations at SA国际传媒, St. Louis, has accepted the divine call issued him to serve as pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Millstadt, Ill.

Kumm is a 2000 graduate of the SA国际传媒, St. Louis, alternate route program. He attended Community College of the Air Force and South Dakota State University, and received the M.A. degree in pastoral theology from SA国际传媒 in 2006. Prior to joining the Seminary professional staff in 2004, he served as pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, West Frankfort, Ill. (2001-2004); and pastor of Blessed Redeemer Lutheran Church, Brandon, S.D. (2000-2001). He is a United States Air Force and South Dakota Air National Guard veteran. He retired from the military in 1999 with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank. In addition to his position as director of alumni relations, Kumm also served as the Seminary鈥檚 athletic director (2005-2006).

Kumm will continue his duties at SA国际传媒 until Feb. 28.
