Seminary offers workshop for wives of pastors

Embracing life as a pastor鈥檚 wife is focus

In our culture today, there are any number of myths about the role of a pastor鈥檚 wife in the parish and in the community. There are also untold joys and challenges.

In light of this, SA国际传媒, St. Louis is offering a morning of discussion to offer support, sort through the topics of expectations and vocations, and delve into the true identity of ministry wives.

鈥淓mbracing Life as a Pastor鈥檚 Wife鈥 with Heidi Goehmann will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 5, in Sieck Hall 201 at SA国际传媒, 801 Seminary Place, St. Louis. The event is free and open to all women connected to SA国际传媒. The online, live stream event is open to the public here.

Goehmann, a licensed therapist with Grace Place Wellness Ministries in St. Louis will discuss maintaining a healthy marriage and family, setting boundaries with people and time, using social media and tending the relationship with God.

The workshop is sponsored by the Families in Transition team at SA国际传媒.
