Dear alums,

The final days of the final quarter! After Commencement on May 19, life will slow down a little, but it won鈥檛 be long before August comes with the first semester of the revised residential curriculum.

We invite you to join us by live stream for a convocation from 4-4:30 p.m. (CDT) Wednesday, May 17, at www.csl.edu/live. The subject will be a quick look at the closing year and our hopes for the new academic year, which will begin, God willing, Aug. 25. The theme of the convocation will be 鈥淪A国际传媒 and Congregations.鈥�

Recruitment for pastoral ministry: We鈥檝e improved our administrative tracking of prospects, a good step forward, but the pool of potential recruits for ministry is too small. In the convocation we鈥檒l share steps we鈥檙e putting in place to enlarge the pool. Please help by holding up in your congregation pastoral ministry as a wonderful and greatly needed vocation.
