Statement from SA国际传媒, St. Louis about suspicious package

It has been determined the contents of a suspicious package delivered to SA国际传媒, St. Louis Monday, Aug. 7, were electronic parts that had been ordered. Authorities deemed the contents of the package harmless.

The Seminary is grateful for the support of local emergency responders and is thankful for the safety of the campus community and surrounding neighborhood.


A suspicious package delivered to SA国际传媒, St. Louis was tested by bomb technicians Monday afternoon who rendered it safe, according to St. Louis police Capt. Mary Warnecke. Because the package was meant to “cause alarm,” its origins remain under investigation. Anyone with any information about the package or who may have sent it is encouraged to call the Clayton Police Department or CrimeStoppers.

Meanwhile, the campus has been given the “all clear.” Operations will resume as normal Tuesday.

The suspicious package was delivered Monday to the campus. The authorities were promptly notified and the Seminary is complying with the authorities in the investigation.

All students, faculty and staff are safe and all areas of campus were secured.

At this time, the investigation is ongoing. Additional advisories will be issued if the details warrant.
