Seminary hosts St. Baldrick鈥檚 Foundation head-shaving fundraiser
Seminary president, faculty, staff, students to shed hair for cancer research
Who: Dr. Dale A. Meyer, president of , as well as students, faculty and staff will voluntarily shave their heads during the head-shaving fundraiser. Participants have grown their hair for months in anticipation of this event.
What: For the eighth time, SA国际传媒 will “brave a shave” and participate in the St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving fundraiser. This year’s goal is to raise $11,000 to help fund research to find a cure for childhood cancers.
When: 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019
Where: Koburg Hall, SA国际传媒, 801 Seminary Place, Clayton, Mo.
More information: Since partnering with St. Baldrick’s in 2012, SA国际传媒 has raised more than $71,460 for the foundation, thanks to the volunteers who forego their hair in support of this worthwhile cause.
St. Baldrick’s head-shaving events give “shavees” a way to show their support by voluntarily shaving their heads in an effort to inspire friends and family to donate funds for childhood cancer research. Stylists from Great Clips in the Hampton Village Shopping Center will shave heads on-site for their seventh year as well.
