Vocatio retreat for high school students set for June 19-24
On-campus visit helps students explore the call to ministry
Attendance at this in-person retreat will be limited to ensure appropriate group size, and all health and safety guidelines will be followed to ensure the well-being of all participants.
During this retreat, participants will engage in theological conversation, hear from Seminary professors and attend a virtual Concordia University System college fair. Group sessions will focus on thoughtful conversation about the Lutheran faith, aspects of vocation and the call to pastoral or diaconal ministry. Participants also will walk through the admissions process, learn about the St. Louis area and have some fun and recreation.
鈥淎fter a difficult year, I鈥檓 looking forward to meeting everyone in-person this June. We will pray, study Scripture, build fellowship, experience life as a student at SA国际传媒, and learn what it means to serve God鈥檚 people through pastoral and diaconal ministry,鈥 said Rev. Micah Glenn, director of Recruitment.
The deadline to register is June 5. Interested participants can learn more and sign up at csl.edu/vocatio. For information about a virtual option for this event, contact Rev. Micah Glenn, [email protected].
Vocatio is one of many visitation events for prospective students held throughout the year that provide a preview of the Seminary鈥檚 ministerial formation experience. Individual visits also can be scheduled.聽To learn more, contact the Seminary at 800-822-9545 or [email protected], or visit csl.edu/admissions.
