Seminary raises record $22,963 for Give STL Day
Gifts were matched up to first $11,000 raised
A generous benefactor provided a matching gift that doubled donations dollar for dollar up to the first $11,000 raised. In addition, the St. Louis Community Foundation awarded the Seminary $500 for its successful early giving campaign that encouraged giving from April 5 to May 5.
Most donors gave through the聽 site, while others chose to give via the Seminary鈥檚聽website or to donate over the phone. These unrestricted funds will be used to ensure the Seminary has the resources needed to prepare future pastors, deaconesses, missionaries and church leaders to serve in congregations and ministries worldwide.
鈥淲e give thanks to God for the donors who made a special gift on Give STL Day and for聽all聽of our donors who make a difference for our students and the mission of this institution all year long,鈥 said Vicki Biggs, senior vice president of Seminary Advancement and chief communications officer. 鈥淵our support helps to ensure that the Seminary鈥檚 eternal life-saving mission of preparing our church鈥檚 future leaders will continue for generations to come.鈥
Since its start in 2014, Give STL Day has raised over $22 million for St. Louis-area nonprofit organizations.
鈥淕ive STL Day may be a local day of giving, but we received support from donors nationwide,鈥 added Megan Duncan, manager of annual giving and Give STL Day campaign manager. 鈥淭he impact that these supporters have in supporting the mission of SA国际传媒 is immeasurable.鈥
