St. Baldrick鈥檚 head-shaving event slated for March 17
Faculty, staff, students to shed hair for cancer research

Students, staff, faculty and friends are invited to join in the St. Baldrick鈥檚 for St. Patrick鈥檚 Day Celebration from 4-6:30 p.m. March 17 in the Pederson Field House on the campus of SA国际传媒, St. Louis.
This is the Seminary鈥檚 11th annual head-shaving fundraiser to support childhood cancer research.
鈥淪t. Baldrick鈥檚 Foundation head-shaving events give 鈥榮havees鈥 a way to stand with children who are fighting cancer and to raise support for the foundation鈥檚 mission to find a cure for childhood cancers,鈥 said Dr. Beth Hoeltke, director of the Seminary鈥檚 Graduate School and site coordinator for the head-shaving event. 鈥淲e鈥檙e thrilled to be a part of this important mission.鈥

This year鈥檚 goal is to raise $10,000. Those wanting to contribute to the cause can visit the Seminary鈥檚 St. Baldrick鈥檚 Foundation .
The Seminary hopes to have at least 40-45 head-shaving participants who will each raise a minimum of $25. Participants who chose to not shave their head can still raise money to support the cause. In addition, green beer and baked goods will be available for a small donation.
Since partnering with St. Baldrick鈥檚 in 2012, SA国际传媒 has raised $90,613 for the foundation.
