GiveGreenandGold Day raises record-setting $119k
Hundreds of donors contribute, surpass giving goal
Friends, alumni, faculty and staff together contributed a record $119,968 for SA国际传媒, St. Louis鈥 Give Green and Gold Day Sept. 25, surpassing the $100,000 goal and exceeding the total amount raised in the Seminary鈥檚 six-year history of these annual campaigns.
Gifts raised from the campaign鈥檚 415 donors will be used where needed most as the Seminary carries out its mission. By comparison, 370 supporters raised $106,468 for the 2023 #GiveGreenandGold Day campaign.
鈥淲e are immensely grateful to all of the donors who gave so generously,鈥 said Vicki Biggs, senior vice president of Seminary Advancement and chief communications officer. 鈥淭his outpouring of support means so much as we serve to implement the vital mission of SA国际传媒 and prepare men and women to bring the Gospel to a world in need.鈥
Thanks to a special matching opportunity, gifts were doubled dollar for dollar up to the first $50,000 raised. In addition, an anonymous supporter who created an extra challenge on the of $4,000 when $50,000 was raised for the campaign.
鈥淪eminary friends from all over the country showed their tremendous support of our mission and our students during our sixth Give Green and Gold Day,鈥 said Karla Meyer, director of annual giving and Give Green and Gold Day campaign manager. 鈥淲e extend a hearty word of thanks to everyone who came out in support of this special Seminary giving day!鈥
Donors have given a total of $414,968 since the inception of the annual #GiveGreenandGoldDay campaign in 2019.
