Seminary to host Pederson Field House 75th anniversary
Event slated for Feb. 20-22
Former Preachers basketball players, coaches and managers are invited reminisce, share memories and celebrate the 75-year legacy of the Pederson Field House at a multiday special anniversary celebration set for Feb. 20-22, 2025, on the campus of SA国际传媒, St. Louis. is now open.
鈥淭his 75th anniversary is an exciting time for former Preacher basketball players to reconnect with teammates whose ministry has taken them across the country and around the world. As the pictures in the hallways remind everyone who visits, deep and meaningful relationships were forged in this field house,鈥� said Dr. Peter Nafzger, associate professor of Practical Theology and Preachers Basketball coach. 鈥淥pportunities to gather and reminisce like this don鈥檛 come along very often. We鈥檙e hoping that many former players, coaches and managers will come together once again in this special place!鈥�
The three-day event will include:
- Opening dinner banquet and program
- Special Prof 鈥榥 Stein with a tailgate-style party
- Worship together in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus
- Presentation: 鈥淏asketball 鈥� Psalms 鈥� and the Importance of Play鈥� with Dr. Tim Saleska
- Alumni basketball games and recognition of former basketball players, coaches and managers

A limited number of hotel rooms may be at the nearby Cheshire Hotel with a special group rate of $125 per night, available through Feb.6.
