SA国际传媒 receives 14 awards from ACP, EPA

Seminary publications, communications work garner honors

The (ACP) and the (EPA) recently recognized SA国际传媒, St. Louis with top awards for excellence in writing, design, video and digital content.

The ACP is the nation鈥檚 oldest interdenominational religious press association. It presented its awards in May in Chicago, Ill.

ACP awards in the 鈥淥verall Excellence/Best in Class鈥 contest

  • The Seminary received an Honorable Mention in the “Seminary Publication or Journal” category for magazine. Named in the award: Vicki Biggs, executive editor; Melanie Ave, managing editor; Beth Hasek, art director; and Courtney Koll, designer.
  • The Seminary received an Award of Merit in the 鈥淧ublic Relations and Marketing Campaign鈥 category for the 2024鈥25 Academic Year Theme: 鈥淟et us fix our eyes on Jesus.鈥 Named in the award: Vicki Biggs, chief communications officer; Melanie Ave, Sarah Maney and Christie Hampton, communications; and Beth Hasek, creative director.

ACP awards in the 鈥淰isual Communications鈥 contest

  • For 鈥淲ebsite Redesign,鈥 the Seminary received an Award of Excellence for the website. Named in the award: Vicki Biggs, chief communications officer; Melanie Ave and Kevin Golden, editors; Beth Hasek, creative director; and Chris Miller, web developer.
  • For 鈥淰ideo – Editorial/PR/Marketing (less than 10 minutes),鈥 the Seminary received an Award of Excellence for 鈥.鈥 Named in the award: Vicki Biggs, chief communications officer; Sarah Maney, communications; and Lifetime Media, video producer.
  • For 鈥淰ideo Editorial/PR/Marketing (less than 10 minutes),鈥 the Seminary received an Award of Merit for the 2024鈥25 Academic Year Theme: . Named in the award: President Dr. Thomas J. Egger; Melanie Ave and Christie Hampton, communications; and Lifetime Media, video producer.

  • In the 鈥淢arketing and Social Media鈥 contest, the Seminary received an Award of Merit in the 鈥淪ingle Posting (social media)鈥 category for the 2024鈥25 Academic Year Theme: 鈥淟et us fix our eyes on Jesus.鈥 Named in the award: President Dr. Thomas J. Egger; Melanie Ave and Christie Hampton, communications; and Lifetime Media, video producer.
  • In the 鈥淩eporting and Writing鈥 contest, the Seminary received an award in the 鈥淚nterview 鈥 Short Format (1,200 words or fewer),鈥 category for 鈥Bound by generosity: Reflections from SA国际传媒鈥檚 gift officers.鈥

The EPA is a professional organization of Christian print and digital publications. It announced its awards in April in Lexington, Ky.

EPA awards in the 鈥淗igher Goals鈥 contest

  • For 鈥淪tudent Writer of the Year,鈥 the Seminary received fifth place for 鈥Sharing the joy of Jesus through podcasts鈥 by Lucas Moody, a second-year Master of Divinity student. The article appeared in the summer 2024 issue of magazine.
  • For 鈥淏log: Single post,鈥 the Seminary received third place for 鈥淔ly on the Wall: Without the Holy Spirit, we wouldn鈥檛 even know what we were doing here鈥 by Dr. Leopoldo A. S谩nchez, professor of Systematic Theology. The Aug. 9, 2024, blog post appeared on .
