Seminary celebrates ordination, commissioning anniversaries

Faculty, emeriti, staff have served church collectively 480 years

With combined service equaling nearly half a millennium, the significant ordination and commissioning anniversaries of eight faculty, three emeriti faculty and two staff members were recognized Dec. 6 in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus at SA国际传媒, St. Louis. In total, the honored faculty and staff have served the church collectively 480 years.

President Dr. Thomas J. Egger acknowledged the service of the honored faculty and staff.  

鈥淚t is a joy this morning to be able to recognize and honor a number from those in our community who are celebrating anniversaries of their ordination or their commissioning as ministers of the Gospel in Christ鈥檚 church,鈥 Egger said to the honorees. 鈥淲e are celebrating this morning that God has led you to many places, used you in many ways, and we thank God that among those different places and paths He has brought you here to serve at SA国际传媒 among us.鈥

After the chapel service, the honorees were recognized individually, followed by a time of thanksgiving and celebration in Koburg Hall.

  • Dr. Daniel Mattson, Academic Assistant in Ministerial Formation, 55 years
